New Start...:)

New beginning…
a new beginning a new start a new life and new challenges ……all coming along with the new year…hope is the way of living life and making these hopes realty is the aim of life. lying ideally on the bed the sunday evening my mind is divided into many parts. One part is for India Vs SL cricket match, one planning for my tour starting from tommorow for Wardha near nagpur, one part is of a budding cook which is planning to cook something tonight.
Yup....i am a new entrant to the world of cooking, for last some days m trying to cook one or the other thing and fortunately it was cooked well. so, i can say that i have started something new this new year. Actually cooking is a work that gives to utmost satisfaction when some one appreciate it, and for a man like me satisfaction is something very privileged thing which i really search for. Earlier i was pre determined that i can not cook and it's something which is out of my capabilities but trying it once and the twice and then cooking something good was a great feeling.
One of my friend who was a forced bachelor as his wife was away to her native place told me one day that "i can't cook is just the state of mind " which dominates your mind untill you try to get out of it. This is 100% right. "Mere se nahi hota ye sab...." a punch line from my friend is also a atate of mind. Like me in cooking he also is doing what he thought can't be done.
So, it's a new state of mind and a new way of thinking...just trying once and failing doesn't mean that you can't do. Failing and trying and then succeeding in efforts gives you a boost inside, this is something which is unexplainable. My cooked food in kitchen gives me a feeling of "Sanjeev Kapoor" the super Chef of Khana Khazana fame.
"Vistory is sweetest when you are defeated once...." is what i believe.

  1. "mere se nahi hota yeh sab"...I remember this quote very well...But the quote has changed with the change of time...Now it goes like this..."Mere se bas yahi sab hoga"..:P

  3. Cooking is d perfect example of correct mixture and timing of adding the various ingredients...

A perfect cook knows the optimum quantity of each ingredient and the correct timing to add each ingredient.

If we all become the perfect cook in our lives and put in correct mixture of 'ingredients' at correct time we can also have the sweetest taste of life...

Lets COOK the perfect meal out of this life... :)
