a great weekend knocking the door....this is great because it is long three days, it is great because all my friends are coming to Pune and great because i am ready with all the plans and engagement for the coming days...:) from Jagjit Singh live, 3 idiots, Avatar in 3D, and many other things. I want to make my last week of eventful year 2009 more eventful. We all friends again going to meet again. "Hell Rockers" reunion (it was founded back in 2004 at Nagpur during our best days of engineering ) but without some of the key founder members Mr. Insignia & Mr. Arnold..... :(....Goldy and Nathu. One is all away in Scotland and Nathu who is in capital of Ashoka dynasty Patliputra better known as Patna. We miss you buddies.....
So who else is going to be here from Hell Rockers....
Mr.Samurai- Al over from BBR, Mr. Floyd, Mr. RS, Mr. Cerebrum- myself, Ritu, Begu...like every year we try to meet once in a year or may be twice. These are fond memories which is going to be with us even when we will be retired. There are some secret plans like "world cup -2011" , then goldy's black dress code , ritu's armani suit and many other. We all sit and just remember all these things each time we meet. Nothing is consistent in this world but we try to make it consistent our reunion. the charm of meeting each time and hope to meet again at the time of parting is the way we friends live. Although we talk every day know everything from what one had eaten , when he was having terible day at office...but still meeting some one is like a gift...and this year we are blessed by santa ....and secondly new year is also be great as we all are togather...:))
merry Christmas and a great week ahead..

want to see to more Pune.....
Now after spending almost 2 years in Pune I have started liking this city also. I like the city as it is young and colorful. Its really cosmopolitan. You can see people from all over India, all over from Jammu to Chennai and Assam to Gujarat. The IT growth in India has changed the faces of many city and Pune is a perfect example of globalization and hence the rapid growth due to that. Talking to someone from Ranchi I got to know that there is still a acute power shortage their. Its now 9 year since Ranchi became capital city of Jharkhand. Pune’s 1/10th development would have changed the face of Ranchi as well. The state lacks vision, leadership, education at the root level. After 60 years of independence Jharkhand’s literacy is still less than 50%....i can’t imagine a developed Jharkhand even after 25 years.
Let me compare the two cities…..my very own state capital Ranchi….surrounded in the lap of nature with almost 80% minerals in its land. For your information it was a hill station during british rule. The climate is pleasant here winter are chilly…..the city has four universities…the city has got BIT a under ten ranked engineering college in India couple of more colleges has started their academic session about five years ago. City has a independent India’s biggest industrial establishment HEC (Heavy Engineering Corporation) ,sadly the unit is sick now….then city has got few more industries. The mineral mines around the city guides the economy of the capital city.
Now Pune…..very well known as Oxford of the East. The city has total nine universities… more than 20 engineering college , more 15 MBA college, more than 5 medical college and more than 100 graduation colleges. The city has very well established industrial set up. Manufacturing , glass, sugar ,metal forging. Pune is a Automobile hub with Bajaj auto, Tata motors, Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, General Motors, Fiat and many more not just providing jobs but also adding to progress of country and state. The city has got five industrial districts in its proximity. The information technology revolution in India is clearly visible here companies like IBM, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro…and all that u can imagine is here also Microsoft . All well known consultancy and service based companies are here providing jobs to almost one lakh engineers like me…
The city is also known for its rich culture and customs.
Now we can figure the difference clearly…..what are the things that leads to this drastic change between two cities located is a same country one rich in nature’s gift and other rich in vision and a dare to do new….of course this development in any city is not the result of effort of just five or ten years. But why we are not trying hard to achieve same in city like Ranchi…??? We lack basic things like education, infrastructure, vision and leadership……hope Ranchi will also rise as new Pune or Banglore some day..
and will not be known only for “Da Vinci- Koda” scam of whoping 5000 Crores.

Memories, Madras and Me…….
11th Dec 2009’
Finally I am on my way to Pune after a week tour to Maadras now Chennai. The week was just like any other week. Morning 9.30 to 6.30…as usual office work for which I hardly gets anything (in terms of money ,but in term of other things m getting more than enough) in comparison to my company which is many millions. My observation and experiences which I want to share and listed below, it can be a never ending stories but few which I would like to share.
• Nothing much has changed in last five days except the driving skill of drivers which has worsen in this quick and short duration. The driver made my heart to beat @ 300/mins while taking me to Chennai Central from Gummidipoondi. If u remember it is double then the figure which I provided last time. The cab drivers in TN have mastered the art of driving recklessly and doubling the speed in wrong ways and the single roads. I felt helpless as he was unable to understand hindi or English and a mild headache started as some tamil song was played in the car. Every song was same I wondered how can a MP3 have just one song in total.
• Men here wear two type of clothes Lungi and Lungi. Either printed or plain. world has changed from tv to LCD, walk man to i-pods, desk top to palm top, vividh bharti to FM but tamils same as they were 50 years ago…..m talking in general.
• Only two type of species are found in this land. One supporting Amma (Ms Jaya lalitha) or Anna ( Mr .Karunaniddhi). Both the species are either black or more black.
• For tamils hindi is not a language, everything out of TN,Kerala, Karnatka and AP( now Telangana also) is HINDI. It may be people, language, food ….in short everything.
• Chennai police remind me of NYPD which I had seen in Hollywood movies of course, reason it is the only police having their patrolling vehicle as car ,Hyundai accent with multi color lights on top with siren and LED display. No other metro police in india has this privilege as per my General Knowledge, which I think is updated till last Sunday.
• The Tamil version of any one hindi or English word is as longer as u can imagine. In short hindi word is inversely proportional to its tamil conversion. And every place name ends with yam or di. The word “TA” don’t exist in this land everything is “THA” i.e past in hindi. Like ritha, sunitha, sumith…….
• Wall mart has to stop their business in Chennai if ever started if they don’t sell sweet neem i.e kadi patta and banana leaf in their super market. Every shop sell these two items.
It was a pleasant experience of staying all away from city. My guest house has two more guest from Calcutta now Kolkata who were there for SAP ERP installation and training. I liked debating with Mr. Saraf of all topics ranging from share market actually we start with this topic every morning at breakfast table, to politics of WB, on Singur, TATA Nano, to climate change summit at Denmark and many more …. all followed by our daily routine. On Dinner table we try to make it light and watch SAB tv Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chasma, ye chanda kannon hai…….the guest house has a radio from Darbhanga ,Bihar Mr. Mahesh who talked non-stop when ever he see a human. He loved watching cricket being played somewhere, in some part of world between India and some country , but he follow it religiously. One Mr. Ghosh was there who speaks tamil as fast as u see on Sun or Vijaya or Surya Tv…..after accumulating all these sweet memory in my giga sized mind which keep on jumping from here to there I am returning back to Pune. Don’t know why but I am missing that place it may be temporary but I am….:)…..
In between I am also reading a new novel “RIGHT FIT WRONG SHOE”…..

winters.....
Dec 2006’….
Plot No.P-38,Hostel-P III,
Priyadarshini College of Engg & Architecture,
Electronic zone, MIDC, Nagpur
Time goes faster then anything…I still visualize birbal bhaiya ..a man in his thirties wearing a baniyaan and a pant with a turban of towel very well tied on the head and few hairs standing straight acting as an antenna and looking like a sharp pin that take out blood of your finger if u touch it..Carrying a tray of chai in front of my room 104 at 2 am …..bhaiya maagi hai kya, enquiry floated by some one in the room….nahi..bus chai bacha hai..so called chai better defined as something that has a color of tea and is served hot sometime mildly hot enough to drink it bottom up , god knows what that was…. Take it now other wise wait till 3.30 am for mishra ji . Mishra ji opens at 3 am and he is ready with all poha n coffee by 3.30 am.
After reaching Pune life was all different . I never sleep before 1 am any day b’coz I dnt feel like sleeping. May be I am carrying the legacy of my engineering Hostel life which teaches me to remain awake untill u feel as some two ton stone is put onto your eye lids and still trying to make urself very comfortable with the all those laughter and fun and obviously in a blood red eye. Toeing one bike with another while going to mishra ji’s tapri and trying to save fuel of one bike. We were energy efficient from that time itself….reducing the carbon emission far before Jai Ram Ramesh (Hon’ Environment Minister , GOI) commitment of reducing emission by 25% at Copenhagen climate change summit 2009 December. Actually that was our’s starving pockets which hardly had money for two bike petrol (that costs Rs 10/bike)….
how can I forget those winters (not that summer n winter of back paper)…half fry with rock hard bun n chai at BIRBAL’s… and Pink Floyd in the back ground played by someone in the room giving the feeling of real British style café’.. our shimla man wearing muffler all the time…our shaktimaan’s songs “that.. aag se nata ,nari se rista …”…that sky touching sixes of naushad alam in our very own lord’s of P3…that fagging gang on the top on the hostel..some from that gang has written recently that “life is like a garden which is incomplete without weed”…this quote reminded me of the hostel gang comprising of bhagwaan the king, panda the gladiator, raju the soldier, nishant fransis the think tank, som shubro n many more….guest are always welcome in the gang …aakhir mehmaan devta ka roop hota hai is strictly followed by them…..the best thing about the gang was the other things that knowingly unknowingly was their part…like rajiv nagar, hingna, hill top, ramdaspeth, mazaar, officer, jalebi, sweets, n birbal’s menu card….the list is endless but these are just to brief….time changed so as the gang and me. Sleeping every night better words every morning at 4 am when some people start to wake up was a fun. The lonely hostel situated in the Maharastra Industrial Development Corporation i.e MIDC area was leased for nominal money was heaven and priceless in December 2006. The life was full circle and no one of us wanted to come out that circle. Life teaches many things but that life in plot no.P-38 taught us every thing not many things. Fun, laughter, sorrow, emotion, crying , fighting , loving, caring al those stuffs meant for a human. A complete family far away from your family .
December 2009’…
Dalmia Laminators Limited
SIPCOT, Induatrial Area (Life goes full circle i am still in industrial area)
Gummidipoondi, Tamilnadu…
Just remembering December 2006’
Lying on bed trying to write…have increased my typing speed in last few days…..
Missing all good times and remembering them is a work now. I do this very routinely.
We all wake up every morning and get ready to act a new role every day which is scripted somewhere without thinking our acting capabilities.

yeh hai Chennai meri jaan....
Gummidipoondi...tuesday 08 dec '09....
almost 60 km from Chennai on nellor highway i am resting on my bed after having work from 9:30 am to 6 pm..me having three meals and 4 cup of tea in whole day. Presently i am in the industrial area of Tamilnadu govt. on my official visit. The owner of the plant is a marwari from Kolkata some Mr. Dalmia. When i reched here it took one n half hour from airport to Gummidipoondi that was more than the time taken by my Kingfisher flight to reach Chennai from Pune, which took 1 hr 10 mins to cover more than 700 Kms. But u can't help it.My journey to chennai started at 4.30 evening from my home. I was the last passenger to board the flight. U knw its a pleasure to hear your name announced by a sweet lady voice at airport. THIS IS THE LAST AND THE FINAL CALL FOR MR. RAVI WHO IS FLYING BY KISGFISHER FLIGHT >>> TO CHENNAI. KINDLY PROCEED FAST TOWARD GATE # 3 WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE FIRST FLOOR....WOW...my name everywhere and the airlines staff directing you to the flight. Flight was boring I manage to sleep for 20 minutes… the four air hostesses with fake smile showing their ultra shining teeth enough to act as flash for camera were serving so called veg snacks with tea…snacks was something called aalo tikki with chhole I never had such tikki in my whole life it was really pathetic…two of my co-passenger tried to eat it but in vein…the crew member trying to make them eatable with their pleasing smile and hospitality .
7.10 pm Chennai air port. I got a call from Mr. Verma that driver is at the airport to pick us. NAGAARAJ sir the driver answered when I asked his name. Welcome to Chennai. The driving style in south is enough to make your heart beat 150/minute. But I am used to this as it was my fifth visit to the city of idlis and giant poster and the city of language which has all its alphabets same… all round and round… I wonder how came a little boy of 5 understand all these complicated form of writing. The city has improved a lot since I visited last time. Flyovers , metro under construction and few AC city buses were enough to impress a north Indian or a person coming from Pune (with a image plotted in the mind about Chennai). The city roads are wide and the beauty is enhanced by the greenery. While reading the news paper I got to know that the city has a fair night life and other goodies of life. ILLA illa…..every men use this word twice in a sentence. Most commonly used but having different meaning….strange but true.
So rest in next…..
be well…take care…..

responsibility and me...
27/11/2009
Responsibility n me….
:)…..m starting my blog with a smile..u all can understand y is it so…RESPONSIBILTY… I was just thinking of this word for quite some time. What is responsibility…???? For me it is something which keep knocking the door of my heart and mind regularly. If u are a normal human then this must be the most normal question which keep on striking everyone’s mind. Definition of responsibility is something which I am unable to understand till now. Neither me nor the thinker inside me not even a budding writer inside me who keeping searching something worth of thinking…. :)
If supporting ur family member financially is responsibility then I am not, if calling your dear one’s daily is responsibility then I am responsible. Thinking about ur career is responsibility then I am if pulling someone’s leg n speeding up your career is responsibility towards urself then I m not. Cheering for Indian team is responsibility I am responsible and if appreciating Pakistan team is not then I am not. If voting for an election is responsibility then I am highly irresponsible, because I feel ,rather I am more selfish for myself..who cares taking two days leave for voting…!!! Then we try to make best leader out of us…every Indian is first the selector of Indian cricket team(without any pay) and secondly a political leader without any party…they are so flexible that they can fit any party at a given time…. i am no exception…:)
These days responsibility is the word that worries me or that is pushing me to get something better every time. This is getting best out of me. Everybody in this world is responsible for what ever he is today or what he will be in 5 years from now… planning for urself n ur future automatically full fill ur dreams …that is a sense of responsibility which comes naturally….it may be ur personal perception or aims…and most importantly is to make people happy who are around u and they feel that u r responsible…this is what we want…make people happy around you(by any means) is the ultimate thing which u want and this finally make u happy by default..wat say??
having discussion over this topic…I convinced most of the people….mind it…most of the people not all…exceptions are always there…so just do best for yourself and finally it turns into ur responsibility for what ur are designed for, by the god…we are living in the era where humans are called resources…. Not programmed but definitely designed…. So don’t run from responsibility (actually that is ur aim/target) go grab it…
"we read everything good written on the wall but we always assume that its for someone else...."

SATURDAY 21/11/2009
Writing is something different from sharing your views & thoughts, am not writing m sharing…
Saturday the week end …actually was good….left home at 9.32 am officially its time when I am supposed to report there. Reached there by 9.58 am should have reached 10 minute earlier but was stopped at agri campus on the fly over by the crowd who were watching shooting of a Marathi movie at “Rahul 70mm”, I was the last man to enter the office. Everyone starred at me with a bend eyes, they were thinking that I am intentionally late b’coz boss is out of the town..but they didn’t know that it was my deadly second round of sleep(it start from 8am when my first alarm bells… )that forced me to sleep till 9.00 am. So finally started a new day in the office…I was on the verge of scoring a hat-trick of not doing any thing productive for consecutive third day…last two days were just pathetic, was not doing anything and now it third day…!!!! The office was giving me a feeling of a big cyber café actually a very big finely organized air conditioned cyber café…..i used to go to cyber cafes when I was in class 11th, that time it was real adventure going to a café and paying Rs 60/hr and just wondering what to do there….trying to create new id’s every time and chatting on yahoo messenger was real fun with a cool English song of bryan adams being played by the café owner…. that early days of my higher secondary flashed in front of me …. I was just starring at my laptop which has the black hummer on its desk top and waiting that to come out of it so that I can go on a long drive …. then suddenly I sparked of the thought of fixing our plan for this new year week….www.redbus.in…..my google chrome quickly responded to my request and the web page appeared…pune to daman date of journey 26th dec 2009…no match found…. now pune to panchgani….HEY BOSS IS WATCHING…ENTER…a new web page with a 3D graph and some digits…..LOOK BUSY..SHOW U R WORKING….what a concept man…!!!! Amzaing….was real fun…actually that site having a link on the main page that directly take you to the page having that graphs n all….WOW…Real creativity I appreciated…..i spent next 30 minute to appreciate that and another 30 minute for sending the link to all my colleagues on the office ip messenger…
by then it was already 12 one more hour for the lunch…some good news came al across Germany and Switzerland about registration of some of our project in UN that will fetch another 1.5 Cr to our department so its celebration time all of a sudden the dull Satuday afternoon converted into a very happening place….sweets n jokes.. and of course calculation of incentive from this project was the talk of the tinsel town….i was least interested in the things as its not going to make any difference to my ICICI bank account in any way….but its corporate culture you have to show your smile n happiness more when your competitor gets more than you in terms of money and appreciation ….a nice fresh box of sweets in front of me….have one, my colleague offered….smile…thanks….so how much is your share I asked with a pain in my heart…..just 1.04 lacs …. Ohh….Just 1.04 Lacs… huh @##$%#@….!!!!...i bet if some one would have power this could be a holyday …but boss was not there so every one settled with a wada pav n chai party in the evening…. Now its 1 pm...thanks god half day is over…
Thinking of lunch at office on Saturday afternoon is real torture so I landed up with an idea of having lunch out side…non-veg Mahesh suggested not suggested actually decided….”Calcutta lunch and boarding house”…..its a place recommended by Mr. Iyer , a 65 yrs old gentleman born n brought up in pune, he was associated with me in my last company. Seeing my inclination towards non-veg he once suggested this place. ‘Ravi try non veg at CLABH mainly fish its awesome that words still echo in my ears. So thinking of his experience I went to CLABH. Ordered chicken n fish it was bangda I think with jwaar bhakri... The food was awesome, gr88, tasty and very less spicy…. :) ..the food made me forget the pain of other getting incentive, the last sip of a chilled slice added taste n completed my feast ….m back to office at 2 pm….then another four n half hours….i worked..really worked till 6.30 pm…left office sharp at 6.30..m very particular about this...:)…called panda my roomie planned for evening….
7 PM ..ICICI atm aundh….sorry it was not just the atm its like… like…sorry no words….gal , gals, n more pretty gals…I waited for panda till 7.40 it was like 10 mins….he came…and the night lasted long .:))))…..
Its just some good moments which make a day memorable and worth remembering…

LIFE ON SUPPORT.....
hmmm...9.47pm...tuesday....still tuesday..!!!! and m feeling like its already friday...feeling tired & a mild headache reminding me of next four more working days to come.... :(..i think life is like that only...last sunday while reading "Two states" by Chetan Bhagat i was just thinking that what are the things in our daily life that support us in living all alone (though surrounded by a number of people all around).
For me its...my cell phone, without which i can't imagine my life, or my tv remote which always hide from me somewhere in my room just b'coz of the non stop channel changing of mine or a novel of chetan bhagat in which i try to figure myself in everything which the writer tells...and last but not the least my all good friends mainly from nagpur (my BE friends)....and...and...and...thats all...nothing more i searched and tried to find something which is really supporting me in living life wonderfully....hey family is something which m not counting as its for sure....
now the question is many people do many things to make their life exciting like gyming, trekking, gaming , partying and many other things... i think everyday, do m missing something or manythings by not doing all things..but i pray god just to bless me with all above mentioned things my cell,tv remote,my friend to whom i talk quite frequently and feel like m again back to my college days....and haan chetan bhagat's novel...may god also bless him with more of writing and entertaining skill so that he can bring some smile on our dull & lone lifes.. :):):)
friends try TWO STATES by chetan bhagat....real fun....

thought in the mind....!!!!
hmmmm...finally back to my bed after almost 18 hrs.....left home early this morning around 6.30 am...bought 6 newspapers...TOI, Indian Express, DNA, Sakaal, Loksatta n Pudhari....actually last three were for my boss who was with me travelling to Mumbai....being executive vice president (he started his career in the company as a trainee engg) he was supposed to read all those newpapers not coz he wants but company is paying him for all those papers....m just eligible for TOI so i do claim bill for that every month, and gaining popularity among my room mates for that...:))
Is this happens naturally that u are used to all these things with time...i mean ur behaviours ur hobbies and ur status every thing or it changes naturally with time.....meeting different people all day during my meetings and presentation i noticed one thing that everyone in this world is getting used to the thing for which he is being paid..obiously he will adapt earlier if he is paid well....
is this a way of LEADING life i think its just the way of LIVING life......
for me leading and living are completely different...leading is something in which u know ur aims and ur t trying best to acheive and trying to exel, otherwise its living if u are just doing 9 to 5...
monotonous , stereo type and a routine thing just to earn ur bread and butter....everyone who is trying to lead, are doing something extra ordinary or at least trying new things to prove themselves....salman doing charity with his being human NGO, aur shahrukh buying a team in IPL, or a group of workers from orissa winning a talent hunt show(india got talent) with their unique presentation of dancing skill with a story inside and now representing india on world stage or my EVP who is travelling thrice a week trying to get n prove more n more.....just to keep urself motivated is the key, for any reasons..it may be ur family, friend,a girl, spouse ,kids or urself
"most of the shadows of life are caused by our standing in our own sunshine" this is wat i believe..

my first blog...
finally after so many days m here for you all...for all my friends ,who are wid me in all my even n odds..from my school days to higher secondary to my college and finally at my work place....
after having a boring day at work as usual m sitting watching the reality stuffs on tv as there is no reality left in ma life...:)))...actually searching something real..
i wanted to blog because i wanted to do something in which i can put some mind n time both....
today while chatting to all my friends actually my BE friend during there so called "billed time" i was tagged as "melodramatic" i loved the word.....but seriously i was thinking how just by looking at a life in different way,we give a whole different meaning to it....everyone take it in different ways...
luck vs effort....present vs past... opportunities vs moralities ...right vs wrong.... n reality vs drama... its just the same thing seen from the different angle, naazariya or drustikon.....
but as i said its all about seeing the things...not on television but also in real life
